Pyramid snails

Are these snails algea eaters i have a ton of small white snails and its so hard to tell between the pyramid and rissoids, i have 2 clams i inspected them and didnt see any snails or eggs, but these snails i have are eating poop, going on the tank walls eating the algea there and just wasnt sure if the pyramid snails do this or not. Thanks.

there are many different types of pyramid snail, if they are all over the tank and not directly around or on the clams they are more than likely not feeding on the clam and not going to be a problem. make sure you check the clam a few hours after lights out to be sure.

Yea i check the clams after the lights go out, and they are all over the tank and my live rock and the glass. The only thing i see them ever eating is algea, fish poop and i see them on the glass sometimes.
