Q about clams in my 60

I have a 60 gallon tank (shorter in height than a 55, wider fron to back) with 4x65W PC lighting. I have a CPR Aquafuge PRO with a 740 an hour return (over 550 at 3') and a seio 1100 and a seio620 in the tank for added flow. I am keeping mostly Macro's and shrooms in the tank. I have 9 different macros and tons of small shrooms about 6 different colors, 2 different types. I also have a bright green Galaxea about the size of a baseball, a small cutting of finger leather (Sinularia) and two small frags of Digitata. The only fish is a small blue damsel that came out of a co-workers Pico tank that he was breaking down. There is a huge number of copepods and amphipods established in the tank and all corals seem to be doing well and/or multiplying. I have numerous small abalone in the tank. They seem to have established themselves and one of my co-workers actually told me that is what they were. would a clam do well in my tank? If so, which species? Is there enough light, and would the abalone bother the calm for any reason? They seem pretty harmless so far! I read somewhere that some people think that clams dont need as intense of lighting as people used to think.

Clam will survive in dimmer lighting, for a while, then they'll starve and die before you even see it coming. I have a 50G and I have 4X96W pc light and I thought I was pushing it. I think you might get away with squamosa or derasa but definately avoid crocea and maxima until you power up on your lighting. Abalone should be fine.
