q regarding 6055

Hey Roger, I'm thinking about putting a 6055 on a 7091 single controller in my 29G when it comes out. Is this a good idea? I've read that the 6055 has a flow control so would I set the flow control on the stream itself and then do my other adjustments on the controller? Or should I just forget about this in a 29 gallon and pick up a 6025? The 29g is 30 inches long and 18 deep. Thanks man I really appreciate it.

The 6055 would be great, you could turn it down to suit yours needs, if you don't have a high flow need though, the 6025 would definitely be much cheaper.

The 6025 im sure would do the trick, i just like the idea of controlling the stream to get a different turbelent motion in there. Would that be beneficial to me and my tank full of soft corals of just asthetic? Thanks again Roger.

Yes it helps provide random flow which prevents detritus accumulation.
