QT 2 Dwarf Angels?

Can you put a Coral Beauty and a Flame Angel at the same time in a 20 gal QT tank for at least 4 weeks or will there be troubles. I know that each fish has their own personality, but looking at the overall average.

Im gonna say it will cause problems, i was told having more than 1 angel in a tank unless its a big 1 will cause issues. Both being in a 20 gal together with knowhere to avoid eachother for 4 weeks is a bad idea

If you have to qt together put a divider

I QT mine together. As long as they are juvenile, have plenty of PVC pipes, and added at the same time.

50-50. Anything is a better option than skipping thee QT. The dividers mentioned by bullitr above are easy to find or make. IME, many fish that may quarrel in a small tank still do well in a QT; possibly because they haven't had time to establish territory or pecking order. I've kept many odd combinations of fish in a QT and can't remember a problem.

Thanks, I think I'll try it. They will both be going in at the same time in the QT then to the DT. If there is any troubles, I have some eggcrate laying around.

I would go ahead and divide the tank with eggcrate before you put the fish in. It's easy to do in a 20L. That way they can see each other but you'll know there's a problem before the tears. Less traumatic for everyone.
