Hello everyone,
In the following post (Post #9): http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2156084 Snorvich talks about how he QTs corals for 3 days prior to adding to his DT. He mentions how substrate is the preferred attachment location for protomonts and i'm wondering if this also applies to the coral plugs. Are plugs considered "substrate" in this instance? I have Coral Rx that i use for new corals, but do i need to remove the frags from the plugs in order to be safe from introducing Ich into the tank?
Do people use lights and a tank for this 3 day period? I'm wondering if a bucket would work. I do have an extra tank i could fill up part way and use a light, if needed.
