QT eel?

I have a black edge moray in QT for a week or so, what should I be looking for exactly? I know with fish to look for ich, parasites, feeding etc. The eel is acting normal and eating like a horse. Will he show ich if he has it, I think it would be hard to see, no fins etc?

I just googled this fish and it looks like it has a long dorsal fin. That should be sufficient to show signs of Ich. I'd QT him for six weeks and keep an eye on him. They are as susceptible to disease as any other fish.

The best bet to check for crypto on an eel is to look for cloudy eyes and/or spots on its eyes. Either way, there will be cysts showing up.

Another reason to QT eels is to get them eating well for you (which yours is).

I'd QT with quinine sulfate (crypto pro). I just ordered some and going to treat my eel with it in hopes to kill all the ich in my tanks.
