QT for "Established Tank Only" Fish

For things that need an established tank, most notably a dragonnet, how do you quarantine it? Do you just buy a bunch of copepods and dump them in every day? Do you risk skipping quarantine?

I have a QT but it certainly doesn't have a refugium or anything necessary to support a dragonnet.

Always quarantine. Dragonets eat nutramar ova, brine shrimp, frozen mysis so for the quarantine period, this should work. Putting a ball of chaeto in will also provide copepods.

+1 for Nutramar ova. I sustained a pair of Mandarins for 9+ weeks in QT by just feeding that 3-4x daily.

Thanks for the help. I figured he'd be hard to feed, but looks like there's already stuff I could do for that. I won't be getting him for a while, but at least now I know what I can do while he's in QT.
