hello all,
Tomorrow I am going to pick up a fish that I am planning on putting directly into a QT tank. After a week of relaxation/adjustment/feeding, I plan on starting Tank Transfer method and Praziquantinel prophylactically (unless the fish begins to show signs of either illness before the tx. start date, if this is the case I will begin treatment immediately). My main question is, I have a single fish in my display tank (I know what a number!), I have never QT'd anything before and I'm worried about the current resident giving something to the new fish after it's addition to the Display. The current resident is a neon dottyback, it has never shown any signs of illness to date. What are your insights? Should I just pull him out and begin him on the same regimen as the new fish or not? Thanks for looking,
- Kevin
