QT Inverts

Hi All,

My DT got ich, only thing that I added was macro and snails, so I'm sure it came in on one of those. Anyway, I pulled all my inverts out and have been running copper in the DT for the past 3 weeks, while my inverts are in a QT. My question is this, how long do I need to leave the inverts out of the DT to prevent another infestation?

As a side question, do yall typically QT macro? My LFS just grows it in their sumps, so it's exposed to their fish tanks :-/

it should be at least 10 weeks considering the possibility of tomonts attaching on inverts.

i quarantined macro algae (caulerpa) for two months the last time i put it in my system. you should quarantine everything that's wet.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I've read of folks just rinsing and scrubbing their snails with a toothbrush, but I'm not sure how good that works.
