QT Procedure/Instruction worksheet

The concept is reasonable. However, not everyone is going to be using copper prophylactically, and some will use tank transfer rather than copper. If using copper, it must be tested daily and the period of exposure to it should be 30 days. Prazipro should be administered twice with a week in between. Testing for nitrate has little to no value during a quarantine protocol.

Thanks, I based my QT procedure from a article from Advanced Aquarist by Leonard Ho. Thanks very much for the recommend adjustments.

^^^^^I agree^^^^^
The sheet is a good idea, as is anything that makes using a QT easier. But a QT regimen needs flexibility A few more comments: If using copper, make sure fish are eating first and then dose copper to about .4ppm over 3-4 days. Keep the therapeutic dose for 4 weeks. QT time should be 6 weeks or so (IMO & IME). 21 days is way to little QT time. PP & Cu can be used together; but Hikari says this makes the PP less effective. As mentioned above, dose PP before and after Cu (or TT).

Thanks for all the comments, I have updated the form to reflect the suggestions.

I understand that these are not right for every situation and it must be flexible, but it might provide a good start to those looking for a guide.
