I know we are supposed to try to use quarantine tanks that are large enough for the permanent placement of the fish. This is cost and space prohibitive for most. I have previously used 10g and 20g tall tanks to QT fish for a 75g DT. I am setting up a 220g DT after a several year hiatus from the hobby and am trying to plan my Q tanks. I am going to focus on fish this time (been in the hobby for over 2 decades and had plenty of reefs) so I will have some pretty active swimmers in my 6' tank. Do you guys think 20L tanks are big enough to use as QT for larger active swimmers or do I need to look into bigger QTs. I will stock DT with Red Sea sailfin, blue spot rabbit, powder blue tang, lunar wrasse, undecided trigger, harliquin tusk, and maybe a majestic angel.
