I have setup a QT tank this sunday for my clams which is a 10 gallon and has a 150de hqi 10k halide without actinics. The display they came from has the same halide w/ 2x65watt actinics.
Do I need to have actinics with this 10k bulb?
If I run without actinics should I run a little longer photo period?
Current halide time is 8 hours.
They have been in the QT tank since sunday. They were FWDed I believe on thursday. The 5 max's still look ok. Lost my smallest max after the dip. Crocea had slight curled mantle while still in the display. Since putting in QT tank, the crocea looks slightly better, but Im going to start dosing the metro tonight or tomorrow.
