I have a 12G nanocube. It's all fine and dandy. I keep reading about people and their QT tank. I have never had one, but I think it's one of those things you want to have when you NEED it.
So I want suggestions on size, equipment, etc.
I was thinking maybe 5G, and a pump to move the water around.
Probably a heater too.
Do I need light?
Can I just put water in it and cover it until its needed? Or do you put fresh SW in when you need it.
What if I just as a matter of routine want to put all new livestock in it for say a week before entering the real tank? How long does the water stay good? Does it go bad??
