QT/Tx question.

I'm in the process of setting up my QT tank for a Tx tank for my GBTA who is going through the inflating/deflating process. My question for this, does this Tx tank need a light for the week Cipro Tx?

I treated two gigs with no light. However, my QT was next to a window with direct sunlight for the anemones.
