if u bought new fish at store and they had it for 4 weeks in tank with other fish and no signs of ich would u qt anyways?

Yes-I recommend qt everything. It is better to be safe then sorry. It is much easier to take the extra time to qt now instead of adding it to your main system and having something break out. The lfs could be running copper/medication and nothing is showing up, however the ich life cycle may not be complete and you bring it home -add to your tank- and it breaks out. Remember it only takes one time for your nightmare to begin.
