Hey guys well im about to buy a new eel and was wondering if i should qt it. Can they get velvet and ich? Thanks

Completely off topic, and has nothing to do with your question... but are there any eels that are reef safe? Or do you have to keep them in a separate tank? I'd love to have one, but not at the expense of it eating all my fish.

Yes, it should be placed in QT, as is the case with all new arrivals.
