So, I've been reading on some threads on Potter's angelfish recently and came across some of the requirements in keeping the fish. One of them is that it must be in a mature tank with lots of live rock to graze on. It's not a problem with my DT, but with my QT as it is a bare bottom tank with only 2 PVC fittings as hiding places. I've quarantined tangs, clownfish, large angels, a foxface and attempting to QT two dwarf angels (coral beauty and bicolor angelfish [C. bicolor]). If these two go well, I'd like to try my hands on a potter's angel, but since a requirement is lots of live rock. I can't see how it would work, considering I'm going for Cupramine treatments. There's no problem in getting one that's eating. It's just that I'm worried it might not survive the QT stage. I usually do 6-8 weeks of QT. And no, I'm not going to put any fish that has not gone through QT in my tank (it was a harsh lesson). Many thanks in advance!
