Quarantine lighting question...

If I use a quarantine for corals, do I need proper lighting? I've been reading that you can use ambient, or a NO light for fish, but what about corals? Am I really going to have to spend more $$ to light my quarantine?

One more thing... If I fill up my QT with water from my main display, can I put fish in it right away? Do I have to wait for some sort of cycle?

what filteration will you use for your QT tank?
as the filters will need to cycle thru aswell....

sorry...and for lights, yes, you should try to use the "proper" lights
