Quarantine Set up

Hi guys

I will be moving into a new house later this year or early next year and will either be taking my current 4'x2'x2' tank with me or upgrading to 5'x2'x2'.

Anyway, I will be taking the opportunity to set up a decent QT system

I will be using 2x 20g tanks each with it's own 10g (or 5g) sump to keep LR etc in. This will also allow to keep a damsel or so in each sump in order to keep the biological filter going.

What do you guys think of this?

Also, anyone got pics of their QT or can suggest some ideas?

IMO, keep it simple. Having two 20 gallon tanks will give you some flexibility, but I'd skip the sumps. Set them both up with a heater and small hang on filter. You can add a small pinch of flake food a couple times a week to keep the bio filter going so you don't need damsels, etc.. You could even set one up with some live rock as a quarantine tank for new fish, and the other as a hospital tank, with some sterile pvc pipe shelter. This would allow you medicate if needed.
