Quarantine setup??

I am curious as to what is needed to have a QT. I have a 25gallon display tank. What size is good for a QT? what about filtration? Can I just use water from my display tank to fill my QT? What about lights? I only plan on getting 1 or 2 more fish before my load is at it's max... so mostly corals will be going into it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

that I used in a small fresh water tank a while ago. Is it ok to use this in my QT?

as far as converting it from FW to SW, do I just need to rinse and change the sponges and carbon??

I feel as though I'm talking to myself... anyone have any opinions on this? Thanks!
