Quarantine Shrimp?

Just curious to see if people QT shrimp? I want to add a peppermint shrimp and was wodnering if I need to QT him/her? I have a coral beauty in QT at the moment and would be a little worried having them both in a small 10 gallon QT?

some people might say to QT everything, but i wouldn't bother with inverts. i'd put him in the tank. make sure to acclimate properly though.

I don't QT inverts or coral. The chance of them getting ich or anything else is pretty dang slim. I'm not even sure inverts can get ich now that I think about it.

They can't but the water can carry ich in it. While remote, it can happen

I'd say a 50/50 chance of compatability. Are you medicating the tank? Inverts can't handle copper.

woudnt worry about inverts. Everything else i absolutely would.

Not that we are talking about them, but I do believe turbos can be a host for ich. FWIW.

I also do not QT inverts. Just use proper acclimation process and you should be good to go.

Dip the shrimp in a bucket of your tank water to rinse all the foreign water off the little guy after he is completely acclimated.
