quarantine tank water problems

i Have my 20 gallon quarantine tank going with a regal tang and a cleaner wrasse. Treating with cuppermarine now (for ich), but my water is bad- pH7.8, ammonia 0 ppm, nitrite 5.0 ppm, nitrate 80 ppm, Temp 78 degrees F, SG 1.025. Being that there is medication will this effect the nitrates and nitrates? I am donig a 30% water change now. Aghhhhhh help.

Don't sweat the nitrites, they are not toxic in salt water. The water change should help the rest. The pH can also be boosted with some pH buffer.

Try to feed less and change 30% of the water once a week.
You can also put in powerhead which will help with aeration and bring up your PH.
