quarantine tank

I am planning on setting up a 10 gallon quarantine tank to house all my invertebrates during an interceptor treatment on my main tank to get rid of red bugs. Will I need to set up the quarantine tank (bare bottom) and just fill only with salt water? Then, will I need to let it cycle? I am hoping to perform this treatment ASAP.

You can have a BB with PVC peices for the fish to hid in and feel more safe. Wal-mart has good 10 gal kits that work good for a QT tank.

You might want to qurantine the infected corals. They might not get the best light for a while, but it is better not to treat your display tank.

On the quarantine tank, it is the best investment I have made. I have a 10 gal and a 5 gal hex. I don't use them unless I need them, and when they're not in use I place the carbon in my sump to keep any bacteria alive.
