Quarantine Tank

My display tank is 115 gallons.
Does the quarantine tank have to match the display tank in some minimum capacity?

What dimensions do you suggest for a QT?
Its going to house a Yellow tang at some poing until its safe to transfer to display tank.

No, the QT does not have to match the DT in any capacity. I would suggest a 20L or bigger in your case. You want the QT to handle all of the livestock if needed without crowding for now. As your stock grows, so should your QT.

The general rule of thumb seems to be to have a QT that is 30% the size of your DT. So for a 115 gallon DT you should have a QT that is at least 30 Gallons.
