Quarantine, to do, or not to do?

Hi,

My quarantine tank is Jebo R331 (22L), i wonder if it too small?
I'm afraid to damage the fish in this small quarantine instead benefit.
I have no place for bigger quarantine.
do i still keep using quarantine?

Best regards,
Elad

Actually, you should buy smaller fish that you can handle. If you do not QT, you will eventually wish you did.

How big is your display tank and what else is in it?

My display tank dimensions are: 120cm x 65cm x 65cm

I already have:
Zebrasoma Tangs(Yellow & Purple)
Sohal
5 percula
2 squamipinnis anthias
Royal Gramma
Flame angelfish

That's it for the meantime :)

So that's basically a 120g. You don't want to add a PBT to that tank. You're very likely to have trouble with the shoal killing your other fish in the near future.

That's a 4-foot 120-gallon tank for those of you who don't do metric. You're already over the limit with two zebrasomas and your tank is way too small for a sohal. You really shouldn't be adding anything else in there, IMO.

You will eventually also run into big problems with all of those clowns unless they are all from the same clutch.

All the tangs are very friendly and the sohal too.
There is no fighting between the sohal to the others.
I have the all tangs almost 8 month.
The length of my tangs is +-8cm

The clownfish swims as a group, i have this group almost 1 year.
there is no fighting

With all that, all I would say is "so far". Give it time.

Just one fish out of ALL those fish at the LFS and bang, you're rocking an empty DT for at least 6 weeks. Whether its empty cause all your fish or dead or because you've got them all in a hospital tank is up to you, but some of this stuff (like velvet or brook) is a lot less forgiving than simple ich. I learned it the hard way. I put a fish in I bought from a guy who had a tank running fine for 1 year. Turns out his fish were just resistant to it, because when I stuck the fish in my DT, two of my other fish started getting spots.
