Hello everyone. I just bought 1 hippo, pair of nemo, blue throat trigger and a mandarin. I have a qt tank of 200L ready. Medication prazipro and cupramine. How do you suggest me qt them?

They died. Only blue throat trigger remaining... yesterday were eating very well. Today died...

hummm was the tank cycled?? aminia? how much medicine did you add?

No detectable amonia. Tested with amonia alert and slalifert nh3 test. Still a mistery

Nothing. Just death with no sign of desease...

I wish people would stop prophylactically poisoning their fish with copper.
Copper is really not good for anything as all the diseases it may kill off can in most cases be eliminated with less toxic means.

Cryptocaryon: TTM, Hyposalinity, Chloroquine Phosphate,... - this is actually the only disease copper treats reliably.

Amyloodinium: Chloroquine Phosphate, formalin (daily dips with TTM) - copper might be hit or miss with this one.

Brooklynella: formalin (daily dips with TTM) - copper is absolutely ineffective against this.

Uronema: formalin (daily dips with TTM), possibly Chloroquine Phosphate at double dose - copper is absolutely ineffective against this as well.

The issues with Chloroquine Phosphate are that it can't be used with pipefish, seahorses and (some?) wrasses and that certain bacteria (those in bactreia in a bottle filter starters) seem to break it down to an ineffective form.
