Hi

If trying to Quarantine clownfish with brooklynella and doing formalin dips, wouldn't dip the fish and then put him back in the Quarantine tank and dip a few day later keep the cycle going ? as the fish continue to go back to the same water?

Thank for info.

So the fish has to be move to a New Qt after each dip ? so 2 QT are needed for it to work correctly?

Also should peppermint shrimp be treated with fish or left in the DT?

Thanks

Ok thanks , How would you clean and sterilize the other Qt tank each time in between? , I am guess the Bio-filter would not keep the brooklynella parasite?

When I clean tanks I throw all heaters, pumps, etc. into the tank being used and give it a vinegar bath. I don't measure or anything special, just dump a good bit of vinegar and some tap water and turn on the pump and let it go for a few hours. Just drain the tank and let everything air dry in between.

The bio filter can not be used from tank to tank, Brook can be transmitted on it. Being that you are doing 100% water changes on a very close schedule I would not worry about ammonia or anything. Just don't go crazy on your feedings and you will be all good.
