Queen Angel growth rate

The LFS has a juvenile queen angel. I feel she is a little small to put in with my triggers, tangs, wrasse, lion, puffer, grouper, and maroon clown. So, if she is in her own tank, how fast will she grow? thanks tommy

slow..... not sure the actuall growth rate but a fraction of the speed of most groupers & tangs like the vlmingi & sohal.

Probably should just wait on a larger one

Growth depends on nutrition, size of tank, stress, water quality, etc. IMO, I wouldn't put a small angel with a grouper or lion.

I've had one 15 months and it has only grew 1/4 to 1/2 inch MAX. It is an extremely SLOW grower. I wish it would hurry. I can't wait till it gets 10", has about 7" to go unfortunately.

Like jmccown said, very slow. In 7 months mine has only grown 1/2 inch since I got her ,but her colors have changed a good bit since than thou. She doesn't skip (little piggy).

Same here. Mine, although very small, has changed to its' adult colors already.
