last week, my wife got me a queen and emperor angel.

the male is about 4 inches long and the queen about 8 inches long.

other tank inhab are a 4 line wrasse and a mated pair of ocellaris clowns along with a cleaner shrimp...all in my office 125g fowlr tank.

the emperor is eating well and out and about but: the queen is hiding and doesnt come out during feeding.

i dont see ick or really any other signs of distress...

i did see her parked with the cleaner to get cleaned but see no signs of parasites. the emporer also parked once with the cleaner as well. other than that, i do not see any other real sx for problems.

i am not a real fish person and i love my wife for getting these things to make me happy but in reality...i dont know much about large angels!

any info would be totally helpful! :)

You should alway quaratine all your fish and since Queen Angels are Ich magnets even more so.

What are you feeding the fish, that could be part of the problem. I would get some nori or romaine lettuce and place it in the tank and see if the Queen comes out. Also look and see if there is a problem between the 2 angels as some times that could be a problem, specially in a tank of that size.

Also look carefully at the Queen and she if it has any ich problems, like breathing hard or spots.
