Question about 6055

I have a tunze 6055 from my 90 gallon i haven't used it in a while since i bought my red sea max 2 years or so ago and it was working fine. My only problem is that the cord where it connects to the cord that runs to the tunze pump got wet (little box thingy) with saltwater (dumb me). Now i tried cleaning it best as possible and plugged it in. The light lights up on the box but the pump don't work. I took the little box thing apart and cleaned it best as i can but nothing. Could the pump be fried?

It is possible, but if you send it in, I could try to swap the water damaged end and see if it comes to life, worst case you can get only a motor block for much less than a complete pump.
