Question about a Wavebox

I'm looking into getting a wavebox for my glass 120, I'm sure you get this alot but will this be ok on the seals. The tank is three years old with dual overflows. I plan on using my current maxi mods and maxi's for alternate flow until i upgrade to streams. I just want to make sure this configuration will work without causing issues with the tank seals or anything i might be overlooking. Thanks in advance Jason

I ask the exact same question and the response was that everything should be fine. They did say that even Tunze puts a warning on the Wavebox about using on glass or older tanks that it MAY shorten tank life. I just tossed the MJ-mods for the 2-6101's and the 7095 controller....all I can say is it was WELL worth the investment. Iam getting a 1/2 to 3/4 inch wave running just these in a 135gal reef, and thats a 6ft long tank!! and YES I will add a wavebox when the funds are available

It does stress the seams, like any surge device but in general unless it is a no name tank with thin glass or old or on a questionable stand I wouldn't worry about it.
