Question about acros

I've never had these before just been into soft coral but now I feel like trying out a piece of acro, my question is can these be kept in a biocube 14 with stock lighting? May be a stupid question but I really don't know anything about them.

I would say maybe at the very top, but don't expect it to look amazing.

I did grow montis and pocci's in mine...

Ok, not looking to go crazy or anything just like 1 or 2 pieces the max at the very top

You can grow them, but they probably won't color up. They'll likely just be brown. I had some montis color up a little bit in my old 24g cube with stock PCs, but it was really a struggle.

I had montis, acans, gsp, zoas, and welso brains, and pocillipora in my 14g with stock lights.

Knukles55 did you dose anything in your tank? An how was the coloration?

not hing extraordinary on colour and only thing I really believed in when I had that tank was water changes and red SeaABC plus

When you say stock light what kind of lights are those ?

Power compact.

Then get the led set that a company like rapid led
Makes to fit those hoods and you could keep sps
Corals but most importantly everything else you have will look
Amazing for a small investment

Might be able to find something even cheaper

I can give you a small free piece of one of my across so you can try it out and make sure they will do goo in your tank before you spend the money
