question about attatching a coral to rubble

I have a Kenya tree coral tha has "dropped" a branch. The last time this happened I left it alone and it attatched itself to the same rock. And then I had to break a piece of the rock off. I would like to attatch this piece to a small piece of rubble rock. My question is, can I use super glue gel to attach the piece or do I have to let it attatch on it's own?

What brand of super glue gel does everyone use? The stuff Mel uses seems to work great. If you read this Mel, what type of glue do you use?

Softies generally slime too much and can't be attached with superglue. I'd put it in a small container with some crushed coral or small pieces of live rock in the tank and it should attach on its own.

The best way is to thread a needle and thread, poke it thru the frag and tie the thread around the rock. If it's a bigger frag you could do the tooth pick and rubberband method but I suspect it's not. the kenya frag will slime, preventing effective use of superglue.

Put the dropped branch in a small container with rubble and 24-36 hours later it had attatched and was standing up polyps extended. Thanks for the advise!! Looks like my first frag. Yeh!!

Boy newbie is easily amused!!
