I really love the new Black Ice Clownfish! So I read that it is a mix of Black/White Occularis and Snowflake. Has anyone ever tried to mix WSM with a Snowflake or Picasso?
I can raise clowns and I'm far from an expert. I would consider them 2 different species and would say the maroon would kill the more docile natured Black/White Occularis or Snowflake. JMO
If figured that would be the case. Was just curious. That stripe pattern on a maroon would be awesome. Oh well, hopefully Lightning's will be on the market in several years.
They not only two different species, but also two different genera. That alone is enough to prevent them from cross breeding and producing viable offspring.
if you do a search on here... you will find several people who have bred maroons with percs (mostly by accident I think) I have never seen this cross hit the market though so places like ORA are not doing them.
