Question about flow and what to use

My new 75 gallon,
I have been reading about flow for a reef tank. I really don't want to have anything that limits me to what kind of coral I can have. My first idea was to use the 2 mag 7's I have for close looped. Well i bought all of the tubing but couldn't get that to work. next I decided to place the mag's in the tank with some locline. I have a lot of flow but they are loud and I can't really figure out how to keep them in place. Now I am thinking of going another way. Of course I love the tunze 6045 but then there is the price and how many would I need. I would guess two would be good so looking a $200.00 new. Does anyone know of a dependable power head you would recomend? I have looked at the Hydor Koralia 3 Circulation Pump/Powerhead UL 850 gph they look bigger but they are at least half the price. What would you do?

Taam Seio Super Flow Pump M620 I was just checking these out. They seem to be similar to the hydor. I might be about the get two used ones for $55.00 Is that a good deal?

Flow?

Flow?

Were your Mag 7's noisy when used in closed system? I am setting up a 75gal as well and I have a Mag 5...wondering if I will be under powered???? And I am a little concerned about noise.

On my 75g, I use two Maxi-Jet 1200s with the mj mods. They put out so much flow, that if I don't have two, it stirs the sand. I have them almost aimed at each other with a rock break in between. You just have the cost of the MJ (which you may have laying around) and the mods from reefchilli.

I really like them.

Get a sequence dart and valve it down. Matt and I put one on his 90gal. $219, and premium aquatics has free shipping on them right now. Here on RC the other day one sold for 150. Don't mess around w/power heads, just get a Dart.
