Question about flow

I have my Oceanic 30 gal cube set up untill I can rebuild my 58. I have a Seio M620 in the vertical configuration and a Koralia Nano. I am getting a lot of scouring of the sand at the front and right corner. The Koralia is several years old and not of the new generation. Flow is about 860 gph according to specs. Now from the calulators I have seen this is close for any softies, but not enough for any SPS. Any suggestions on how to up the circulation, but not create a sand storm? The Seio is in the middle back of the tank pointing to the front. The Koralia is mounted on the back left side, pointing to right front corner. I had 2 of the Seio M620s in the tank, but it looked like my clowns were swimming hard and struggling in the flow. Should this be a concern? The smaller one would hit the stream and get blown across the tank at times. Any suggestions?

I think your clown was just riding the jet stream for fun :)
I don't think that would be to much flow.... As long as your fish don't go in front of the powerhead and get launched out of the tank you are fine :)

Clowns and other fish are notorious for liking to swim in the fast stream as Briankmarsh said.

The sand storm will slowly drop as your sand gets covered by various bacteria and other biological goodies.
