I bought a frag that was about four or so inchs tall and had like 3 branchs it is soft and is like a greyish blue and green kinda color(will post pic tomorrow when I get home from work) and it has wilted and hasn't really come back up yet and it has been since friday, what should I do/check? I don't wanna lose it!

I would give it a few days...

What kind of lighting do you have?
Did you acclimate it? If so, how did you do it?

Most of the time with stuff like that it will take some time to get used to the water and lighting in a new tank. I bet you will see it perk up today...

Frank is right it may take a few days for it to acclimate to your tank. In the mean time post your tank parameters like the PH, salinity, calcium and KH (carbonate hardness).

This is the best my shaky hands could do and I have never taken a pic of something in an aquarium before.

The picture is fine...a little small, but it works. :)

Can you give us some info on your lighting, how you acclimated it, where it is in the tank (flow might be knocking it down)

well my lights are 50/50's for a t8 hood and I acclimated it by soaking bag and adding small amounts of my water to water in bag for about an hour and as far as flow I haven't hooked up my powerheads yet(wasn't really sure where to put them) so the only flow is from the filter which is on the other half of the tank so possibly from flow since it is coming from that side, as for parameters I am not sure I have been using the dip sticks and it just tells safe ideal things like that and hve no idea on calc.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

These test kits are good for people just starting out. As your reef becomes more complex testing becomes more critical and better test kits like Salifert etc. are needed. You should get a PH, KH and calcium for now. Water changes should keep things in line at this point. As you add more corals it will take more to keep up with these but that will be down the road. Patience is the key for you at this point. Get a coral or two growing good and then add more. Before you know it you’ll have a tank full:D
