Question about green algae/marshall island?

I have some marshall island that I pulled from another tank and it has some (not a whole lot) of green algae. What should I do??? I have scrubbed it a bit with a brush.

Will it go away once it is acclamated to proper water conditions and form coralline???

Do I need to cure it? Will that make it go away?

Thanks,
Justin

I have MI rock and it has green coralling algae all over it. Are you speaking of the small bubble type algae? If so, my naso tang removed all of it within a week of it's introduction.

If you can, post a picture.

If the rock came with the algae and your nutrient level and phosphate levels are well in hand, then the algae should not be able to survive. If you have a nutrient rich/phosphate rich enviroment, you may have some trouble.
