I just got a Green Brittle star a few days ago and after acclimating him &
adding him to my tank he hasn't moved from under one of my LR yet. I've
target fed him and he eats. I just wanted to make sure this is normal for
them. My tank is a BB too.

I believe they will hide during the day and then come out at night unless they smell food in the water. Also, be aware, the green brittle stars have been known to eat fish and shrimps. They are usually not recommended for small fish and shrimps such as cleaner or peppermint or fire.

There have been some interesting studies done that reveal ultra-violet light damages ophiuroids to the point of death. That's one of the reasons why they hide during the day & come out only at night.
