Hi, I am running LEDs for the first time over my tank, and I will be keeping SPS. I kept SPS corals in the past in another tank, but I always used T5 HO lamps. The LEDS are Ocean Revive t247.
I added a frag a few weeks ago and made the mistake of turning the percent value for the LEDs up too quickly and bleached it out. It is recovering now under low percentages (30% blue and 25% full spectrum). I also added two other frags that are doing very well under these same low percentages.
My question is-- is there a reason that I should turn the percentages up at all? Will the SPS grow slower with it turned down? I don't want to risk another bleaching event if it can be avoided, especially since I will be adding new frags every few weeks or so. But I also don't want slow growth due to lower light.
Thanks
