Question about lighting acclimation

Got a question for you sps folks out there. I Just got a great shipment of sps frags from a fellow reefer here, and let them sit on the bottom of my tank for a couple of days. I then glued them all onto rock rubble. All have excellent color and great polyp extension. The corals came from a frag tank with a 250w MH and main tank with 400w mh. I use LED's and have 72 3w crees (Blues at 100%/whites at 60%) on my 90 gallon. I never acclimated my other sps frags to my lighting, but don't want to kill these guys. I started to move some of these guys into temporary spaces about a 1/3 - 1/2 off of substrate. I know this may be a little soon, but they came from a high lit system.

My question is how quickly would I start to see bleaching. Could I simply turn down my lights to say 50%/30% without hurting my other corals if I do see bleaching?

Thanks for the help

IME bleaching happens rather quickly within hours or the same day. I have LEDS and had no problem dialing down the intensity without hurting other corals. Most of the time, I just put window screen over the area of the new frag to block the light. Then I remove one layer of screen every week until it fully acclimates.
