I found someone on ebay selling 10 yr old rock. I was wondering if that would be safe to use. I was told you should cook rock if its that old. What do you folks think. TIA

Hard to say if its safe. You never know what pests could come in on it and perhaps it has absorbed phosphate or other chemicals.
