Question About Marine Plants

Hello All ! I am looking for a type of plant the will help control nitrate . Can anyone give me any advice on which type I should be looking for? I have a 55 gallon reef tank with live rock , and pc lighting,and about 2-2.5 inches of crushed coral as substrate.

Oh yeah I have no sump so I want them to go into my tank.

here is a list of plants you could put into your tank. also if you curently have a filter 4 ur tank u can turn that into a fuge buy taking out the wheel or sponges and put algae their and put a light on top
