Question about QT find.

So I was QTing a monti cap I picked up from a LFS. It appears to have growth form of the Leng Sy cap. Anyways, to today I inspected it and I found a brittle star. It has bright green and brown stirped legs. It also has 7 legs, 6 now because 1 fell off. Are these reef safe? I have never seen one like this, but have heard mixed opions on the all green britles. I will try to get a pick.TIA

Oh and it seems like there is almost like a spider web type fuzz on the small the coral is attached too.

I've seen many little brittle stars before both in my tank and others, and I believe the general consensus was that they're just detritus eaters and part of the cleanup crew, not harmful to anything or anyone other than detritus.
