Question about setting up a hospital tank.

You know the story. Ich/velvet, it won't happen to me. I've got to move 3 chromis and a flasher wrasse to let my tank fallow. I've got a 10gal setup that I added cycle additive, 10lbs LR, as well as a couple of bio balls and a piece of the pre filter from my wet dry. I'm planning on dosing copper while my tank sits fallow for a month. Looking at the tank it seems kind of small for four fish. Will I be ok?

I would replace the LR with a few pieces of PVC fittings, and let the DT lay fallow for 2 months. Depending on the size of your fish 10 gal. might be a little small.
