Question about spliting

Hello all
I have a big enough green BTA,that i wanna split with a sharp blade in two pieces.
I've never tried that before,and i wonder how many days after cutting,the pieces will recover?

When I split mine it I let then go 8 days but I would suggest not skimping on the recovery time.

Ok I fragged my anemone in half then quartered one half of it. Then put them in a breeder pen. And kept them there for 8 days. Then I pulled them out and back in the display. One of them wasn't fully healed and it was found getting it's guts torn out by a large hermit. If I had let it heal an extra week in that pen I believe I would have 3 of them.

It's hard to tell. I accidentally tear my anomone when removing from the rock. It took them about 2 weeks to heal.
