I have my DT running for 5 weeks now. The cycle is finished. I dosed 3PPM ammonia, and it was gone in 2 1/2 days. Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0, and Nitrate is between 20-50 (can't tell the exact number from the test kit)
I have 2 QT 20g-long. I have filter sponges been floating in the sump for few weeks, so I am going to using them to jump start the QT filters
My question:
Should I use 100% of the water from the DT, or 50% from DT and 50% fresh salt water?
