Question about tank leveling

So i have a problem, i think, i had a 29 gallon and just upgraded to a 40 breeder. I literally placed the 40 breeder next to the 29 gallon. However i failed to realize the floor is slightly raised....about an inch at the rear of the tank/stand for the breeder. So now i have about 1/2-1 inch deference between the water level in the front of the tank verst the back of the tank. Do i need to drain the tank to a level where i can move it and try and level it out or am I ok? thanks everyone.

Well, you can try to level it with water in the tanks, but you will probably make a mess, eh...maybe not...just depends. Level the stand at the bottom. Do not try to level the tanks sitting on the stand.

That is a big difference. Drain and properly level the tank asap.
