Question about torch coral.

I've had a torch coral for a while now he seems bigger color is a lot better then day one but he just doesn't seem to want to split. Does that take a while to happen or is it because I have him in the rock to far?

I'd say sometimes it just takes a while. My torch has been ready to split for a while now.

I am in no way an expert on torch, but I can't keep mine that close to the light, mine likes lower lighting at the bottom third of the tank; mine has split quite a bit.

Yea mine is alittle less then half way up.

How often do you feed yours? and what do you feed it?

I don't really feed it directly but when I do it's normally brine shrimp and rod's. but I also feed the rest of the tank the same combo every few days. So it does get a cloud of food

How often have you had it? If its recent it may take a while before it takes off

I will say I had it since April 20th give or take a a few days to a week.

Like mentioned above, it just takes time. Feeding it is a good thing, but I don't think it's going to split the watch in half. GL.

I'm it takes them a whiles to split first but once they do they sort of take off
