Just a couple of things I keep in mind...
- Will your skimmer hold 2 weeks of skimmate?
- Will your auto top off hold 2 weeks of water?
- Do any of your corals need to be fed by hand, more than once a week?
- Any fish that will target other sources of food (your other pets) within those 2 weeks if they are not fed on a regular basis?
I would...
turn off your skimmer the last day b4 you leave and feed a heavier dose of liquid food for your corals and feed the fish a little more than usual. then clean the skimmer out. after an hour or so turn skimmer back on.
check items overlooked and make sure they still work.
Last, do you have a drilled tank or siphon overflow?
If I had a siphon overflow I might just turn it off and skip the sump for that duration in case it decides to turn off its self. The heater is probably not needed in the summer here and tanks can go skimmerless once in awhile (it will just feed your corals a little more) unless you have a high bio-load , chiller or other important gadget down there, then that might not be a good idea.
I hope this helps some Good luck, let us know how it all turns out after vaca.
